Costa Rica Sport Fishing Package

Our fishing package includes:

• Full bait and tackle are included on all charters. We use only competition quality gear.
• Lunch, including soft drinks, water and beer are provided for all fishermen on each charter. The food is delicious and you have new choices everyday. We do not offer other alcoholic beverages.
• Daily rate is $1750(US) per day. Up to 4 fishermen.
• Minimum charter is one day. Special rates are available for four or more consecutive days.

Additional Information

Airport Transportation

Transportation from San Jose International to Los Suenos or Jaco and return transportation for up to 4 persons - $200.

Fishing Licenses

Captain John will assist you in purchasing a Costa Rica saltwater license at the marina prior to your first day of fishing. Nominal Cost.

Fuel Prices

Due to the volitility of fuel prices it may be necessary to charge a minimal increase to cover costs.

Tipping the Crew

The standard practice of tipping the crew for excellent service is 15-20%.

Accepted Payment Types

At this time we accept Bank checks, Company checks, personal checks and cash. Credit cards will be accepted in the future.

Terms

50% due at booking. Balance due 30 days prior to the trip.

Cancellation

With more than 30 days notice, 50% will be refunded. With less than 30 days there will be no refund. If you cancel and we then book the date(s) you will received a full refund.

What to bring on your trip

Bring a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. We'll be fishing 9 degrees above the equator so make sure to protect yourself from the sun. It is also recommended to bring cameras and white soled shoes for use on the boat.

For your Safety

The Clean Sweep is a brand new 2005 boat with the latest electronics and most up to date technologies. We carry only USCG approved safety equipment. We exceed USCG requirements with a SOLAS approved liferaft and EPIRBs.

Registered, Licensed and Insured

We are one of very few fully registered, licensed and insured sport fishing ventures in Costa Rica.
