Clean Sweep Limitada
In the U.S. |
Fishing in Costa RicaThe waters off of Los Suenos are considered one of the prime billfishing grounds in the world. Pacific sailfish are abundant, while large black and blue marlin are caught on a daily basis. Tablefare such as yellow-fin tuna, wahoo and dorado are plentiful year-round. In-shore fishing enthusiasts will have plenty of opportunities to try their luck at catching the spectacular roosterfish, which averages 40 pounds in these waters! We also have the opportunity to do deep drop bottom fishing for many varieties of Grouper and Snapper. Meet some of the species of fish you can expect to capture while on board The Clean Sweep.
Blue, Black and Striped MarlinMarlin are caught every month of the year. Mid-November through early March is the prime season. Action slows a bit from April through early June, when it picks up again in August and September.
SailfishCaught throughout the year, with December through May normally the top season. They thin out in the summer and the two slowest months are September and October.
